Nigeria’s Flying Eagles hit camp today for FIFA U-20 World Cup preparations
As the FIFA U-20 World Cup billed for New Zealand kicks off in 55 days, coach of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles, Manu Garba has disclosed that they will hit camp today in Abuja to start final preparations for the tournament.Manu revealed that Kelechi Ihenacho, Chidiebere Nwakali, Isaac Success, Daddy Moses, Wilfred Ndidi, who were all invited in his 35 man provisional list, are expected to join the squad at a later date to fight for shirts once they are released by their European clubs

“There are no big surprises in the list. We’ve invited Isaac Success, Kelechi Iheanacho, Chidiebere Nwakali, Wilfried Ndidi, Kingsley Sokari, Daddy Moses; who was my player in the Golden Eaglets and featured for the Super Eagles. They will be coming to fight for places in the team.“We will resume camping this weekend; Sunday, and we’ll start training with the players on ground because some of them are involved in club duties. I have the assurance that they will join us as soon as their clubs give them the nod,” Garba said.
